How do you apply false eyelashes?

Important: Handle your mink lashes with extra care. Never tug on the individual strands.

l Start by gently pulling on the two ends of the band until it's detached from the clear tray. Then, look downwards at a mirror, and position the lashes on your eyes, just above your natural lash line.

l Note the width of your eyes, and trim the false lashes from the outside corner to match. After trimming, apply a thin, even strip of glue along the band of the lashes, then allow the glue to settle for a few seconds.

l After the glue starts to get tacky, look downwards at a mirror again, and carefully position the lashes at the base of your natural lash line, pushing it down as close as possible, for the most natural look.

Once you're happy with the placement of the lashes, leave the lashes on and wait for the glue to try. That's it!

How do you remove false eyelashes?

Important: Do not use alcohol based cleaners on the mink lashes as it may weaken the band.

l Using a cotton swab, dab some oil-free makeup remover along the band of the false lashes, and wait a few seconds for the glue to start dissolving.

l Then, start to gently push the lashes down, without handling by the individual strands, avoid pulling or ripping the lashes off.

l Once the lashes are removed, dab a cotton swab in oil-free makeup remover and gently rub off remnants of glue from the lash band. Do not rub the individual strands of fur.

l Once the glue has been removed from the band, place your lashes in a clean, dry place, or place them back into your lash box to avoid dust and dirt. 

But How Would You Know if it is Real Mink or Not?
Don’t be confused. Learn how to spot the difference between real and faux mink eyelashes. This is a must before you have them attached firmly on your eyes for several reasons, and it is not only the price that you should be concerned of. It could come to you as a big surprise to know that your knowledge of this material might just be the tip of the iceberg.

First difference would be in its appearance and safety. Faux mink eyelashes are produced using different materials like fibers, plastics, polymers, etc. These would not hurt your eyeballs, but of course nothing is safer than natural animal materials.

Real mink products are finer and thinner. They weigh less than synthetic products, making it easy and comfortable to wear. Both would give you a glowing look, but with natural or mink fur, everything would just look very natural.

Wearing animal hair may sound weird for some people but how about the use of products, which we all know are filled with harmful chemicals? Given a choice, you should always choose what is safe and natural.

Aside from the materials used, there is also a big difference in cost. For sure, the cost spent in the production of fake ones is cheaper. On the other hand, getting real mink lashes extensions would cost you around 13 dollars in the beginning and then a few more for maintenance.
